how cgh became the design agency it is today.

  • 1980’s

A tremendous start to a career in design and communications started at Grey Design, Chelsea, London with Amanda and Nick Grey taking me under their wing and immediately introducing me a host of prestigious brochure and print projects for large city corporates and unique one-off projects for high value clients.

  • Onwards and upwards

The creative experience was invaluable and allowed me to progress on to a future award winning design consultancy – Lawson Marshall Cole, Holland Park.  As a more senior designer I worked on design and branding solutions with retail focused brands including clients from the drinks and confectionery sectors in addition to print and exhibition design projects.

    Onwards and upwards

  • 1990’s

During the 1990’s I was invited to work for Redland PLC, a Footsie 100 construction materials company with a HQ in London, a design management role included managing a team of young designers, copywriters and a photography team to produce a range of design and communications materials

  • First steps at own agency

The relationship with this organisation continued when I formed Summerly Communications. Our newly formed company was based in Reigate, Surrey and developed an additional client base with prestigious clients including Rio Tinto and Lafarge Plasterboard.

  • 2000’s

In 2000 I moved to Edinburgh – freelancing for a short period at Tayburn and then I committed myself to an exciting creative journey with Crombie Anderson  – a leading product and graphic design consultancy based in Leith.

  • 2010 - CGH Creative was born

In 2010, I decided on a fresh challenge and utilising the creative knowledge and experience built up over many years  – I created CGH Creative Ltd and looked to continue to work with clients within sectors I had proven experience of. North British Distillery, Viju Group, Wyman Gordon, CXR Biosciences were some of the companies and organisations I have been delighted to have provided creative services to over the recent years.
