Linlithgow Business Improvement District

Business Improvement BIDS are developing in towns across Scotland as they attracts inward investment and develops partnerships between private and public sectors to the benefit of a town. The Linlithgow BID was developed to ensure that all local businesses have their say on the future of the town and are given the opportunity to work together to increase footfall, attract new businesses into the town and in effect make Linlithgow, West Lothian a better place to live, work and do business.

The process expanded into two BIDS – one for the High Street and one for the established Industrial Estate on the edge of the town. In essence the project doubled in scale and all communications were then delivering specific messages to the two target audiences.

The BID management team recognised at the outset that the most essential role of the communications programme was the requirement to continuously inform and engage with all businesses with the BID zones. CGH Creative have supplied design support from initial brand creation and then developing a literature design system for strategy and planning communications.
